The region is home to Onas indigenous communities which still preserve their language and culture.
The locals are very welcoming to all foreigners, and have a reputation of being generous, easy-going and extremely friendly. Ushuaia´s nickname is the "City of the End of the World", because of its unique location, which also make trips through the Tierra Del Fuego very accessible.

The Ushuaia Spanish school is located within a tenminute walking distance from the center of the city and three blocks from the main avenue.
The Spanish School is near the port, one of the most important in Argentina, which is very busy from October to April.
It has 14 classrooms equipped with TV, video and audio teaching materials. There is a comfortable waiting room, a kitchen and a computer lab with 18 computers with Internet access.
There are plenty of things you will do in Ushuaia. Locals love to explore the leafy trails of the forest or sip hot chocolate by the Port of Ushuaia. Summer is the ideal season to challenge Tierra del Fuego with adventure sports, such as trekking, fishing, sailing and cycling. Besides, there are several glaciers and national parks where nature abounds and outdoor activities, adventures and sports are a must…and an experience you will never forget.
