Salamanca Spanish School
Current temperature:
The Salamanca Spanish school is a recently restored 16th-century monastery. The modern materials used for the renovation create a natural balance with the richness, style and class of previous centuries. You enter the school through a beautiful courtyard.
The school is located in the heart of the old city center. The building is 100 meters from the famous University of Salamanca and just two minutes away from the magnificent Plaza Mayor.
The main building has three floors, 17 classrooms, a recreation room (with computers, video, piano, sound system, etc.), a library, a staff lounge and three offices.
One must in the city is the Plaza Mayor of Salamanca, one of the most beautiful baroque squares in Spain. For a full day trip you can choose to visit Madrid, which is only 200 km away. Also, the Sierra de Francia and Sierra de Gredos (mountains) surround Salamanca, so you can spend a full day there. You have plenty of opportunities to get in touch with nature and to discover typical small villages located nearby.
