Barcelona offers a very diverse atmosphere, where culture, communication and entertainment are part of the everyday life. Barcelona has always been a city at the cutting edge of fashion and architecture, combining the old with the new. Barcelona’s unique, exciting atmosphere provides foreigners with a truly unforgettable experience. There are two major art festivals during the year: one in the summer and one in the autumn. There are also concerts and shows of different varieties continuously playing.
There is also a varied range of cultural events. The city centre still maintains its medieval flare and Gothic architecture. International cuisine and spectacular local restaurants are also quite famous in Barcelona.
Barcelona provides entertainment, shopping, and cuisine to fit all budgets. Art lovers may admire the works of Picasso or visit Guell Park, the La Pedrera building, or Gaudi’s famous Sagrada Familia all in the same day. The locals are friendly and welcome tourists from all over the world.
