Sosua is a U-shaped beach on the Atlantic Coasts continually chosen by Dominicans and tourists for its beauty and rhythm. Dominicans claim that this is the best and nicest beach the country has. Besides, its position amid other beautiful and worth visiting beaches make of Sosua a perfect jump-off destination from where to embark upon different trips to other places.
Affectionately called the "Acapulco of the Dominican Republic", the city has undergone a steady growth since the beginnings of the 70s. Still, it manages to keep its charm and vibrant environment spite of the hundreds of shops, resorts, nightclubs, and restaurants that fill the city. However, Sosua’s appeal lies in its large sandy beaches lined with deep blue waters where you can relax, sunbathe, swim, or practice water sports.

The Sosua Spanish School is set in a Caribbean-style building, surrounded by impressive and huge trees and exuberant vegetation that provides a cozy atmosphere. Because of its tranquility it is very common to have outdoor lessons.
The school is situated just a few seconds from the center of Sosua and a 5 minutes walk from the marvelous beach, to be exact: in the district El Batey.
As regards the facilities, the school facilities include sunny terraces where you can relax and socialize with your mates, lush gardens, and table-tennis. Every student has free internet access during office hours. Besides, it has a communal kitchen for those who eat at the school.
Whenever you have free time the school organizes some trips you can enjoy. You can visit Puerto Plata and Santiago and it will take only half a day. For a full day trip the school offers excursions to Punta Rusia, Jarabacoa. And if you want to spend a whole weekend you may try going to Samara or Santo Domingo.
