Flamingo Beach is located in Punta Salinas to the northwest of Bahia Brasilito, in the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. It is a small corridor of white and pure beaches enclosed by low hills and pristine waters.
Flamingo Beach is an extraordinary posh destination with miles of sugar-white sands, and safe waters for swimming, diving, surfing, snorkeling, and yachting. There’s a full-service marina with ferries and yachts that can take you to neighboring beaches. The beach is also world-wide acclaimed for being a treasure for fishing. If you aren’t into this sport, you’ll soon discover how thrilling it can be to fish in Flamingo’s waters.
Flamingo Beach is one of Costa Rica’s purest and quietest beaches. You won’t find a flamingo here because there aren’t any in Costa Rica, yet, when you land here you’ll get that this name suggests the magnificent beauty of what you’ll find on this beach. Also called the Gold Coast, it has been designated a Blue Flag Ecological Beach, a distinction only awarded to those beaches that outstand for the beauty of their sceneries, the quality of their waters, and the clean environment that surrounds them.
