Mendoza is the capital city of the homonimous province and the most important city of the West of Argentina. The city was founded in the 16th century and it was later reconstructed in a European style, after a devastating earthquake hit Mendoza in 1861. It has a population of almost 1.5 million. This picturesque city features wide avenues traversed by small riverbeds and irrigation canals, five main legendary squares and various bars and coffee shops found alongside the wide pavements, shadowed by a variety of trees.
Mendoza is also a culturally rich city that has the best wines and ski resorts. It is one of the most chosen tourist destinations because of the various interesting activities available in the region. Extreme sports such as rafting, climbing or kayaking are very popular.
The whole city is well-equipped with services and options that fit all budgets. Transportation options are available from main cities if you are interesting in heading to the Andes. People from Mendoza are described as friendly and warm and are always happy to meet new people.

The Spanish school in Mendoza is situated to the south of the city center - 8 blocks from the main square. It is half block from Colon Avenue which is the main access from the local bus station and it is also very close to a small park that surrounds the Town Hall.
It has easy access to public transportation and it is 7 blocks from Aristides Villanueva Avenue, famous for its international hostels, top bars and pubs, and restaurants.
As regards the design, it is a big house that dates from the 50s and that has 5 classrooms and a large dinning room. It also has a big backyard with a barbecue grill.
Students’ favorite activities are visiting the wineries and the national parks, or participating in water sports, such as windsurfing, fishing, water-skiing or sailing. For those fond of adventure, rapids descending from the Andes are the perfect scenery for rafting and kayaking. Going to the northeast (115 miles), you find several International ski resorts and places for other adventure sports. There are many local festivals, such as the National Wine and Harvest Festival in March.

The Intensive Spanish course is made up of 20 group weekly lessons. Classes aim at developing the communicative competence in Spanish in the four main skills: speaking, reading, listening and writing. They also provide contextualized grammar and expose the students to the local culture.

The Private Spanish course is designed to meet the student’s individual needs and expectations. During the course, students will be exposed to a wide variety of topics according to their own interests and pace. This course is available at all levels, from Beginner to Advanced, and students can choose the number of hours they want to take. Classes are organized according to the students’ schedule, depending on the availability of classrooms and teachers. This course is ideal for students planning to take a specific Spanish exam, to gain work experience or who are preparing to go to a local university.
The Spanish & Business course combines the study of general Spanish with the specific knowledge to understand the work culture of Argentina. Topics include applying for a job, making phone calls, sending and receiving e-mails, writing business letters, faxes and reports, and business interviews.

Spanish and Ski (16 + 2 lessons/wk + 3 days of ski/wk)
The Spanish & Ski course consists of lessons that aim at developing the communicative competence in speaking, reading, listening and writing. They also provide contextualized grammar and expose the students to the local culture. This course also includes 16 group lessons + 2 private lessons + transfer in/out to the ski center + 3 days of ski per week (2 passes included, one during the week and one during weekend). This course is held in Mendoza, Bariloche and Santiago.

The Super Intensive course is designed for students wishing to deepen their learning experience and to accomplish a higher level of proficiency in Spanish in a shorter time. This course includes 30 group lessons aimed at reinforcing the class content, working on weak points and broadening areas of the students’ own interest. All areas of language are worked: reading, writing, speaking, listening and contextualized grammar.

The immersion course consists of lessons that aim at developing the language skills of speaking, writing, reading and listening and the use of language in real contexts of use, taking into account aspects such as social appropriateness. The Immersion course combines 20 group lessons plus 5 private lessons per week.

The Spanish & Tango course is ideal for tango lovers since they will get to identify themselves with the locals who feel that tango is not just a dance, but a way of life. This program includes 20 group lessons on general Spanish and 8 tango classes per week. Additionally, students will find plenty of tango shows and real-life opportunities to dance at popular milonga bars and traditional tango bars. All levels are admitted and a minimum course length of one week is required. This program is held in Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Bariloche and Mendoza.

The Study Trip is specially designed for people who want to combine intensive training in Spanish with a complete touristic and cultural program. It includes a minimum of one week of group lessons in the morning, recreational/cultural activities in the afternoon and free weekends + one whole week trip to the most picturesque regions of our locations. Possibility to combine trips and courses in different locations.

The Group Program is for participants of all ages traveling in groups who share the same needs, expectations and interests and require a customized program. The price is subject to the specific requirements of the group and the program can include different locations, countries combinations, special accommodation, variety of activities, and specific academic requirements such as university credits.
The Spanish & Salsa course is suitable for all levels of Spanish and dance, one of the features of this program is the opportunity to learn Spanish, practice different salsa techniques, shines and turns while spending a fun time with classmates and friends. It includes 20 group lessons + 8 salsa classes per week. This program is held in Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Bariloche, Mendoza, Santiago and Antigua.
