The Russian school in Riga has been working for 10 years in the educational field and is the only school in the region that has been recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia. The school building occupies 2 floors of an old Art nouveau building in the heart of the town.
The school is located in downtown near important tourist sites. The old town is within a 10 minutes walk as well as the Ortodox Cathedral. The Opera house and the Russian Drama Theater are also close by. There are also several cafes, bars and restaurants and sport facilities and parks.
The school counts with 5 classrooms; a fully equipped kitchen where students enjoy tea, coffee and other utilities; two administrative offices; a TV and DVD room and a computer lab with Internet. There is WI-FI at the school.
The Russian school organizes three activities per week. They vary from season to season but they will always include guided visits around Riga, the historic centre, the Central Market and a Friday ride in Riga’s Retro Tram.
