“Paris is an incredible place. It’s full of shops, cafes and beautiful tinny restaurants. All with the amazing view of the Eiffel Tower”
This was your first time abroad?
Yes, it was. I though that my first visit to Europe had to be definitely Paris.
What did you like the most about France?
What I enjoyed most in every city of France was the exquisite food. Restaurants are very glamorous and make you feel cared for and at ease. Every region has its particular recipes and wines are delicious too.
How was the experience of learning French in France?
I think it was the best way I could choose to learn a language. Being at Paris helped me understanding French in deep, with its idioms and contextualized meaning. I not only learnt a language, but also discovered a new culture.
Did you have the possibility of visiting different areas of France? Which ones and which one did you like the most?
I took every weekend to visit other main cities near Paris. I loved Giverny, where Claude Monet lived and where now you can see his artwork in a beautiful museum with gardens. I also enjoyed Champagne and Normandy.
What did you like most about the school?
The French school in Paris was really cosy and teachers were very dedicated. But what I really liked about the school was its fine location in the Grands Boulevards, near the Opera.
What did you like the least about your experience?
I took so many tours and morning excursions that now I regret not having had much time to go out at night. I guess I missed a lot of fun night outings.
