“I was sent to Barcelona for business and decided to take a Spanish course to perfect the language.”
This was your first time abroad?
No, I travel a lot because of my work. I was sent to Barcelona for business and decided to take a Spanish course to perfect the language.
What did you like the most about Spain?
Barcelona is a major business center, not as big as NY of course, but you get a grasp of how the country works in general terms. Besides its cosmopolitan features, you can still see traditional aspects of the culture, like street mimes and bullfighters. It is a nice conjunction rarely found in big cities.
How was the experience of learning Spanish in Spain?
These were two weeks of rush and haste with many things to do. But I managed time properly and I could take great advantage of the lessons. I had already studied Spanish before so it was just a matter of refreshing content.
Did you have the possibility of visiting different areas? Which ones did you like the most?
I didn’t have time to go to other cities beyond Barcelona. But I managed to take my course and go around the tourist sights of the city during these two weeks.
What did you like most about the school?
I liked the way lessons were organized. We took the course during the morning and had all the afternoon to sightsee or do other activities. Time is maximized to the fullest.
What did you like the least about your experience?
There were some excursions that were changed at the last minute. I enjoyed them all, but I wish I had visited those we had been told at the beginning.
