After we Receive your Application

Once we receive your application, it takes 3 to 4 business days to get it processed and confirm wether or not there is program availability.

Once it is processed and you receive a confirmation via e-mail, we will arrange a phone interview with you to talk about your profile, the placements you might have selected and any other questions you may have. We want to make sure we know your specific expectations about the placement before selecting a Volunteer experience for you.

After the interview, it takes about 6 weeks to confirm a placement with an organization and placement details to you. Please note that positions have limited availability and the application process is competitive. If a placement is not confirmed within 6 weeks you will receive a full refund. Once you receive a placement confirmation no refunds may be processed.

What should I bring?

For a successful Volunteer experience you must be open-minded and ready to adapt to a competely different lifestyle. Bring your experience and knowledge to the table and be willing to undertake responsabilities in many areas. The important thing here is that you are willing to help with anything your host organization needs.

General Placement Requirements

  • You must have finished high school. Most placements have additional education requirements.

  • Your Spanish level must be at least Intermediate to be able to communicate effectively with your peers.
